People have different financial goals based on what stage of their life they are in.
Some of the most common goals are saving for retirement and/or college.
Establishing an account is the easy part. Now how do you invest what is in there? How much risk are you willing to take? What about the market? What about interest rates? Elections? It can be very confusing!
How much do you need to put away to fund the goal? What if you're just starting out?
The most common task I have is helping folks set up accounts, and invest the money in those accounts, with an eye towards a future goal.
